Tremendous Journey Concert

Tremendous Journey is a musical exploration of the amazing variety of life with which evolution by Natural Selection has endowed the Earth.  Children from local schools will be joined by the Devon-based Singtastic Singers for fifteen songs - some witty, some serious - in a wide range of musical styles from classical to rock, from jazz to ballad.

Following performances in San Diego, Cambridge (MA), Boston, Liverpool and Devon, you can enjoy Mr Darwin, Mutate, Selfish Gene, Taxonomy, Queen Bee and other equally memorable songs just a few miles from where their prize-winning composer, David Haines, spent his formative years in Old Stratford.  Between the songs there will be brief science readings which range from the sublime (Darwin and Dawkins) to the ridiculous (Douglas Adams).

Tremendous Journey celebrates the wonders of science in a way rarely attempted before - through songs that touch both heart and intellect in a stream of great melodies that will linger with you long afterwards.
