Monday 19th October 2009
Magic of Oxygen

A show starring a little brown tea-pot and its very own genie will take you on a journey of exploration that includes rockets, a tea bag, a very slow beetle and an unusual use for marshmallows. You can expect a few flashes and bangs along the way when some explosive mixtures are conjured up as Mike and Rob entertain you with a light-hearted look at the work of scientists such as Boyle, Hooke, Newton and Priestley, and recreate some of their experiments in bizarre and unpredictable ways.

The Magic of Oxygen will take place at 11am on Monday 19th October at the Open University.  If you would like to book places for your class please use the contact us page or e-mail coordinator@mksciencefestival.org.uk giving details of your school and how many places you would like to book.
