Nick Spall is a freelance space writer and currently a coordinator of the UK human spaceflight campaign. As well as being an observer of international human spaceflight activity, having closely followed both the Russian and US programmes over the last 35 years, he is interested in the opportunities offered by commercial space access and the possible low cost science projects that can result. He has also been in practice as an urban planner, with interests in remote sensing and land use planning.
